Life at any age is a gift, especially one lived with love, connection, and community. At Eldies, we aim to celebrate the diversity and breadth of the communities we live in by creating meaningful opportunities to engage with volunteers of all ages. In everything we do, we hope to gift love - whether it’s in the form of sandwiches for neighbors experiencing homelessness at Peanut Butter Jelly Time, music at Tea & Tunes, or having purposeful conversations through Coffee & Conversations.

“Intergenerational” means that at all of Eldies’ events, you will be volunteering alongside people of all generations. You will meet people with different backgrounds, be able to exchange stories and passions and appreciate the unique paths of lives lived. In the process, we hope this creates an opportunity to promote and foster empathy and compassion - helping to strengthen one’s community.
No matter your age, whether you are 1 or 100 (or beyond!), you can play an important part in doing something meaningful in your own community while getting to know your neighbors around you.
